The "ML1.1" and the "M1.1"?

The ML1.1 series came first - 1982

Then BOSCH started over with new model names like M1.1,  M1.3,  and M3.1 - about 1987

It was unfortunate that Bosch started a second series of Motronic ECUs with similar model names.
